I am the son of a banker who later become a Christian pastor, so leaving St.Louis in 1998 for rural North Dakota where my parents relocated was new territory for me. Before my exploring of North Dakota, I had rarely seen a wooden wagon outside of television westerns. This particular abandoned farm was so large and populated with equipment and artifacts of farm life from some 30 years prior, it was impossible to not walk through this place and imagine what it must have looked like in its prime.
